Coffee History Leeds

At Apple Vending we have an interest in all things coffee and like to look into the wider history of coffee, epecially when it includes references to Leeds. In recent years the high street coffee culture looks to have being taken over by the big label coffee companies such as Costa Coffee, Starbucks & Caffe Nero. All of whom seem to have little qualms in duplicating coffee shops as close together as possible to the detriment of the smaller coffee houses. The trend may seem very new to us. But over a 100 years ago a similar revolution was happening on the high streets up and down the country. In those days the big brand was Kardomah.
